Steampunk Rally

Didn't expect a dice game to feel this tactical. Chaining your dice into movement and heat vents on the same turn is so satisfying, and turns fly by once everyone knows the rules.

Building your contraption piece by piece while racing the other players is way more fun than I expected, and the dice placement never feels random. Our first game ran a bit long because everyone kept tinkering, but the second playthrough flew by.

The machine-building part is what got me hooked, you're literally piecing together a crazy contraption from spare parts each round. Dice rolls keep every game tense since a bad roll can stall your whole engine. Played it four times the first weekend.
