聖托里尼

My kids picked this up in ten minutes and my wife still hasn't beaten me since. The little building blocks are chunky enough that nothing tips over mid-game, which matters with a seven-year-old at the table. We've played it every night this week instead of turning on the TV.

The god power cards are what make this one click for our group, since no two matches play out the same way. Turns are quick enough that nobody's waiting around bored, and the little buildings look great on the table.

Taught my 8-year-old the base rules in about ten minutes, and she was blocking my climbs by the second game. The little building pieces feel solid in hand, which matters when you're placing them hundreds of times a match.
