Skyrise

The auction phase where you bid for turn order had my whole table groaning and laughing at the same time. Components are chunky and the city tiles stack really cleanly, no fiddly bits sliding around. Played three games back to back and nobody wanted to stop.

The three editions made choosing tough, but the Collector's set was worth it for the upgraded city tiles alone. Took us about 90 minutes to finish our first game and nobody wanted to stop.

Played our first two-player game last night and the cityscape building mechanic clicked way faster than I expected. The three editions had me staring at the page for twenty minutes, but the components in the one I picked feel genuinely sturdy. Already planning a four-player rematch this weekend.
